Full Job Description

As our Payroll Analyst, you will be:

  • Leading on the delivery of accurate and timely end-to-end payroll for our HC02 payroll group (covering hospitals and treatment centres).
  • Ensuring all statutory and voluntary deductions are processed and paid on time.
  • Handling payroll-related queries, resolving issues, and providing clear and timely communication to employees.
  • Maintaining and developing payroll procedures and audit processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Building effective working relationships with Finance, HR, Business Systems, and Operations teams.
  • Identifying and suggesting process improvements, risk mitigation strategies, and efficiencies.
  • Supporting a robust control environment to ensure accuracy and mitigate compliance risks.

    Extensive experience managing end-to-end payroll processes in a large organisation.
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation and audit requirements.
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience with payroll systemsiTrent experience highly desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals or equivalent (or working towards it).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a hands-on, proactive approach.
  • Experience in NHS payroll would be a valuable advantage., Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Were looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Payroll Analyst to join our team at Practice Plus Group, managing the full end-to-end payroll process for over 2,000 employees across our Secondary Care division.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic finance function in one of the UKs leading independent healthcare providerswhere accuracy, compliance, and service excellence are at the core of everything we do. This is a fixed-term contract for up to 12-months to cover a period of maternity leave.

  • A salary of up to £27,000 depending on experience
