A silver award-winner in the North East England Tourism Awards, The Hog's Head Inn in Alnwick takes its name from the tavern in the Harry Potter books and films. Located just a few minutes' drive from Alnwick Castle, which featured as Hogwarts in the first two films, the inn is ideally positioned near The Alnwick Garden, Alnmouth, and the stunning Northumberland National Park, offering a wealth of attractions and natural beauty right on the doorstep.

You'll Fit Right Inn

As Breakfast Chef, you'll play a crucial role in our kitchen, ensuring presentation and attention to detail are key. A natural early riser, punctual and consistent, your experience in a similar role and commitment to fresh food environments will shine through as you take full responsibility for your section before, during, and after service. You will maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and quality, ensuring the appropriate storage, labelling, and dating of all food stock following company policy and legislation.

You'll work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams, demonstrating strong communication, time-keeping, and organisational skills.

Under the leadership of founder Keith Liddell, this single inn soon grew to include The Bamburgh Castle Inn in Seahouses, The Hog's Head Inn in Alnwick, and The King's Head Inn in Newton-under-Roseberry. These early expansions laid the foundation for what has become a multi-award-winning hospitality group, now led by CEO Sean Donkin.

Today, The Inn Collection Group includes 32 unique inns across Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, County Durham, North Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, and North Wales. Since 2018, we have grown rapidly, acquiring stunning properties in some of the most breathtaking locations across the region.

Originally based in Northumberland, our central support hub relocated to Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2022. Despite this growth, The Inn Collection Group remains deeply rooted in the North, proudly celebrating its heritage and connection to the region.
