Full Job Description
As a ranger you will play a crucial role in promoting and sharing the park\'s assets with visitors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Social Media: Promoting the park and its activities through various social media
- Events: Organizing, leading, promoting events and exhibitions.
- Visitor Centre Services: As duty Ranger work alongside volunteers to provide a high quality reception to visitors, assisting in the day to day retail, building facilities and administration.
- Interpretation: Providing informative and inspiring tours and talks about the park's wildlife, geology, and history.
- Play: Creating engaging and interactive experiences for visitors of all ages.
- Education: Developing and delivering educational programs.
- Conservation: Overseeing conservation projects enhancing our habitats. Full time post, working a rota (including regular weekends (2/month), evenings, bank holidays (job share could be considered) For further information and to apply - via Dorset Council - Durlston Engagement Ranger
