Full Job Description
Wakefield Libraries are looking for a committed and motivated Customer Service Assistant: Home Library Service driver to work as part of our Home Library Service team. The position is 18.50 hours per week and the timetable is currently being developed. The main duties include engaging with isolated home library service users, stock selection, driving the Mobile and Home library Service vehicles and back-office administration. The successful candidate will be required to complete a driver awareness and assessment course.
- good literacy, numeracy and verbal skills
- full UK driving licence- category B (up to 3.5 tonnes)
- a currently updated driver CPC qualification
- good working knowledge of IT
- awareness of health and safety procedures, polices and precautions
- knowledge of manual handling procedures
- an ability to undertake work which on occasion requires considerable physical effort
- ability to demonstrate a knowledge of all elements of customer service which impact on a positive and enjoyable customer experience
- previous experience as a driver/porter As part of the interview process, you will be required to complete an interactive task.,
