Full Job Description

  • Personal care and support: Assisting with daily routines to promote comfort and wellbeing
  • Companionship: Offering warmth, kindness and a friendly face
  • Live-in care: Providing round-the-clock care for those who need it most
  • Promoting independence: Encouraging clients to live fulfilled lives with autonomy
  • Medication support: Safe, timely administration of medication
  • Specialist clinical care: Supporting clients with complex needs confidently and competently
  • Palliative and end-of-life care: Providing compassionate care during life's most sensitive moments

    At least 6 months of paid professional care experience (or personal care experience in the UK)
  • Confidence supporting individuals with limited mobility
  • Previous experience working with learning disabilities and Autism with behaviours that challenge
  • A valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Experience with complex care (preferred but not essential, full training provided)
  • Ability to understand both verbal and written English to follow care plans and communicate effectively
  • Qualities: Empathy, Integrity, Respect, Teamwork and the ability to deliver exceptional care

    Pay: £13.97 to £16.69 per hour
  • Shifts: Shifts available 24/7, working 3 to 1. Shift patterns: 08:00-20:00 days, 20:00-8:00 waking nights, 20:00-8:00 sleeps We are looking for an exceptional Community Care Assistant to join the Newcross team and be part of a supportive and rewarding environment where your contributions truly matter.,
