Full Job Description
The post holder will be required to support the wider research team ensuring that clinical studies are set up within both internal and external NHS objectives and targets., As a Research nurse leading on the oncology early phase portfolio, you will be required to set up and deliver clinical trials. This involves a great deal of organisation co-ordination and attention to detail, to ensure the safe and efficient conducting of trials, with adherence to trial protocol and research governance.
The safe administration of experimental medicines and SACT are pivotal to the role, compliance with policy and procedures are essential.
The delivery of high-quality safe patient care and experience is required, communication, problem solving and collaborations with internal and external teams effectively will enhance this.
Accurate and completeness of data collection within the research framework.
Ability to use I.T systems and extended software to facilitate role.
The oncology research nurse role is a blend of research and clinical responsibilities, that are patient focused.
