Full Job Description
If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care, working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
Assist in the management and organisation of their clinical area and participating in the education, development and supervision of other staff members., Applicants will also be required to undertake Mentorship of Student Nurses and preceptorship of newly qualified nurses whilst assisting the ward sisters, and ensuring that the Fundamentals of Care are maintained to a high standard.
All applicants must be a Registered Nurse, with recent experience at Band 5 and meet the Band 6 Job Description person specification. Experience in both pathways is essential for this Senior Nursing post holder., The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
