Full Job Description
To provide a specialised clinical diagnostic imaging service to the Directorate. You will be responsible for assisting in service development, ensuring that high clinical standards are maintained. Assist in the maintenance of the ophthalmic imaging and angiography databases. Assist in delivering this service in close liaison with Medical, Nursing and other staff. Responsible for the recording of clinical observations. Ability to use image manipulation and graphics software. Provide clinics at other hospitals, + Retinal photography, imaging and image analysis + Fluorescein fundus angiography - electronic image recording, image processing and analysis + Optic nerve head tomography + Optical coherence tomography + Anterior segment OCT + Administration of eye drops to facilitate ocular imaging + Visual Acuity assessment + The ability to be able to concentrate for prolonged periods of time in order to capture images and then be able to manipulate them to achieve the best result for the patient + Preparation of images for clinic sessions, South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff.
