An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 Community Staff Nurse within the Integrated Community Nursing Team in East Ross, Highland. The band 5 permanent post holder will be required to assess, plan, implement and evaluate complex care in a range of clinical and residential/home settings within East Ross.
The East Ross peninsula in Highland is full of pictish history with long sandy beaches, golf courses, the most amazing views of breath-taking coastal landscapes. Invergordon is part of the Inverness and Cromarty Firth Green Freeport. This position is a perfect relocation opportunity and within commuting distance from Inverness.
The post holder will work from Tain Health Centre, Tain and/or County Community Hospital, Invergordon on a rotational basis across East Ross to meet the needs of the service. Working a variable flexible shift pattern from Monday - Sunday across East Ross covering 3 GP practices.
Applicants for this post require registered nursing experience and able to demonstrate leadership, good communication skills and evidence of continuing development. They must be passionate about a career in community nursing and be motivated to work autonomously within a dynamic environment as part of the wider multidisciplinary team. As a community staff nurse you will work within the Integrated Care Team under the direction and supervision of the District Nurse and will assess and deliver an agreed plan of care to individuals within a community setting.
A full driving licence is essential for this post and applicants should have their own vehicle for work purposes. All applicants should be registered with the NMC.
