Full Job Description
The post holder will be responsible for assisting in the smooth running of the Medical haematology Day Unit. To take responsibility and accountability for a group of patients. The assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care to all patients and to assist in the care of patients on Clinical Trials, To work within an experienced nursing team to deliver care and treatments to patients attending the Medical Haematology Day Unit this will include a variety of specialities including Gastroenterology, Neurology, Endocrine, Rheumatology patients . In most delivering care and supporting Haematology patients with both malignant and non malignant conditions.
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
