Full Job Description
You will be responsible for completing biopsychosocial assessments and interventions, creating care plans, assessing risk and signposting to other services and agencies as appropriate.
You will lead on outreach programmes, establish mechanisms for peer support and play a key role in the overall development of this new service.
You will work closely with the IBPS Clinical Psychologists and with the national network of Care Navigators.
This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to make a real difference and help action the recommendations of the Infected Blood Inquiry.
The role is based within the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust (CPFT) Psychological Medicine Service at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge and hosted by the Addenbrooke's Haemophilia Centre.
CPFT provides Psychological Medicine Services within acute hospitals in the county which include Addenbrooke's Hospital; Royal Papworth Hospital; Peterborough City Hospital; Stamford Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
The Cambridge Psychological Medicine Service has been established over many years and provides high quality services, having an 'excellent' rating by the Psychiatric Liaison Accreditation Service., Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is a health and social care organisation dedicated to providing high-quality care with compassion to improve the health and wellbeing of the people we care for, as well as supporting andempowering them to lead a fulfilling life.
Our clinical teams deliver many NHS services, not only via inpatient and primary care settings, but also within the community. These services include children's, adult and older people's mental health, forensic and specialist mental health, learning disabilities, primary care and liaison psychiatry, substance misuse, social care, research and development.
