This is a 12 month fixed term contract (possible secondment for internal staff) for an Interim Operational Manager for:

Mental Health Liaison (MHLT) service based at Watford General
Mental Health Liaison (MHLT) service based at Lister Hospital, Stevenage
Mental Health Urgent Care Centre (MHUCC) based at Lister Hospital, Stevenage
Work closely with the service manager and Clinical Leads, to support the team through a period of transformation and change to working practices.
Build and maintain relations with senior staff from West Herts Hospital Trust and Lister Hospital.
Provide supportive leadership to the team leaders within the team
Ensure team meets national and local KPIs
Work with wider team to improve clinical practice
leadership and management training opportunities

First or higher degree
Professional qualification in relevant area of health and social care
Car driver (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010) which prevents you from driving)
Post graduate qualification or formal management training, Strong management experience in relevant area of health or social care
Demonstrate success at managing change and development
Proven ability to work flexibility and to a tight deadline, Excellent communication skill
Experience of multidisciplinary and multiagency working
Ability to analyse information for the use of service planning, You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
