Full Job Description
The post holder will apply autonomous assessment, examination, and documentation and follow relevant clinical guidelines for the treatment of patients under the supervision and decision-making of senior clinicians.
The Urgent CarePractitioner will be expected to engage in Shift Lead duties regular basis, to ensure patients are cared for by the rightperson, in the right place at the right time., You will seek clinical expertise regarding judgement, discretion, and decision-making in the provision of clinical care to adults and children presenting with undifferentiated diagnoses of minor injuries and illnesses within a UTC setting.
Our purpose is to provide community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire and Derby, as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire.
We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes and, increasingly, in people's own homes and via virtual consultations.
