Full Job Description
For candidates who are also qualified as a Healthcare Assistant, there may be opportunities to support the clinical team and enable you to maintain this skill., Duties involve all aspects of a busy dispensary, including handling scripts, making up prescriptions, ordering stock, checking orders, patient record input, stock control and general housekeeping.
Applicants must hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing Services. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, along with confidence in using IT systems. Previous experience in a GP practice is preferred but not essential.
The practice is based in the rural village of Reeth, about a 20 minute drive from Richmond and Leyburn. We have about 1500 patients on the practice list and provide high quality personalised medical care.
We are a small friendly team that care and enjoy looking after the small community we serve.
