Mathematics Teacher / Instructor
MPR/UPR + SEN (£2,679) or Instructor: £21,731 - £33,901 per annum + SEN (£2,679)
Full time, permanent.
Required as soon as possible or from September 2025.
We are looking to appoint a friendly, resilient and flexible Teacher or Instructor with sound mathematics and classroom management skills, at our main school site in Lowestoft.
Horizon School is a two site Pupil Referral Unit (KS1 - KS4 site and Tier 4 In-patient Youth and Adolescent CAMHS) in North Suffolk. Children come to Horizon School for intervention when they require support in managing their behaviour. This can often be at a point of personal crisis or where their underlying needs haven't yet been identified, which are therefore creating a barrier to them accessing mainstream education.
Your role will be to implement and deliver the Horizon School mathematics curriculum to years 7-11, which engages and ensures all students are able to make progress in line with expectations in all subjects. You will be fully supported with further training and CPD.
