Full Job Description
Do you want a job which helps people?
DANES are seeking a Disability Adviser to work in a small, busy charity dedicated to improving the lives of Disabled People.
30 hrs per week – pattern of working hours and days to be negotiated.
This is a permanent post
Salary: £23,589 p.a. (£15.06 per hour)
As a minimum, the successful candidate will:
· Have awareness of the needs of someone with a disability or health condition
· Be aware of current welfare benefits system relating to disability
· Be able to work independently and as part of a small team
· Be able to maintain detailed and accurate electronic records
· Have their own transport and be able to travel throughout the area to Outreach venues throughout North East Suffolk.
Knowledge of the current benefits system would be an advantage, but training will be given to the successful candidate.
