Full Job Description
We are proud to offer an exciting opportunity to join the Staying Well Hub, the in-house staff wellbeing team at South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. Our award-winning service has received national recognition for its proactive, preventative, and person-centred approach to staff wellbeing., As a Mental Health Practitioner within the Staying Well Hub, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and emotional wellbeing of our colleagues. This is a varied and rewarding position that combines direct support with strategic wellbeing initiatives, including:
+ Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing person-centred support plans
+ Providing timely, compassionate mental health support and crisis intervention.
+ Designing and delivering psycho-social education programme and wellbeing workshops
+ Lead on suicide prevention and postvention initiatives.
+ Contributing to the development of a proactive, preventative wellbeing culture across the Trust.
+ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance wellbeing outcomes.
+ Support return-to-work planning and long-term sickness cases.
+ Promote mental health awareness and deliver training across the organisation.
+ Use data to evaluate impact and inform service development.
