Full Job Description

We are looking for a Payroll Development Officer who can provide a high level of advice and guidance to the members of the payroll team, including support with complex payroll I.T issues and the delivery of training.
The development team is a small team working alongside the larger payroll team to improve payroll systems and processes.
You would be responsible for development of the payroll system both to make improvements and in response to changes in legislation, delivering training and liaising with other departments to improve the payroll function. You will need to be willing to take on work in unfamiliar areas and take on self-guided learning/training.

The Development Officer position is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like the challenge to implement significant changes to systems and working practices. You should have experience in a payroll setting and a high level of I.T capability. The successful candidate will need to be highly self-motivated with the ability to work and manage workloads independently.
