Full Job Description

  • Lead the discovery and analysis of business needs across workstreams, ensuring alignment with the programme's strategic goals.
  • Translate complex requirements into clear, actionable user stories and process maps that support automation, AI integration, and system optimisation.
  • Collaborate with service leads, developers, and project managers to design and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Support the development of business cases and benefit realisation plans, ensuring that proposed changes are evidence-based and deliver measurable value.
  • Contribute to the governance and prioritisation of the programme backlog, using tools such as Azure DevOps to manage change requests and track progress
  • Assist in the development and delivery of automations and technology solutions to improve ways of working across Children's Services.

    Proven experience in business analysis within a digital transformation or technology-enabled change environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work with data and translate insights into practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Familiarity with tools and methodologies such as process mapping, user story development, and Agile delivery.
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Experience working with platforms such as Liquidlogic, Synergy, or Assyst.
  • Understanding of public sector service delivery, particularly in children's services or education.
  • Knowledge of AI, automation, or digital service design principles.
