Full Job Description
- Design and develop scalable data solutions on GCP, ensuring alignment with our data transformation goals
- Collaborate with data producers and consumers to integrate consumer data products into the data mesh.
- Advocate for best practices in data design and GCP usage across the organisation.
- Tackle and resolve complex data design challenges.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data architecture and processes.
- Align data solutions with group data governance and control frameworks to support overall risk reduction.
We're looking for a track record of the required experience shown on a real production platform is a must, as are a "can-do" attitude, capability of bootstrapping projects, and ability to effectively work with multi-disciplinary, internal and external distributed teams across the project lifecycle., Proven experience in data design and engineering, preferably on Google Cloud Platform. - Strong understanding of data mesh architecture and consumer data products.
- Strong understanding of Dimensional and Normalised data modeling
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for data-driven decision-making and innovation.
