In partnership with Sport Wales, the Mid Wales Sport Partnership (MWSP) has been recently established to help more people across the region to enjoy access to physical activity so we can achieve our vision of "Creating Healthier Communities and Transforming Lives through Active Lifestyles".

The move to Regional Partnerships provides us with a unique opportunity to locally address the challenges we face across the Mid Wales region covering Powys and Ceredigion. MWSP is operating as a company limited by guarantee (with the potential to adopt a charitable status at the right time), within a robust and transparent governance framework. At its heart will be a balanced, inclusive, diverse, and skilled Board which shall be focused on our strategic direction.

Our board is made up of volunteers who give their time, knowledge and experience to steer the Mid Wales Sport Partnership towards the successful attainment of our strategy. It is essential that we have diversity of perspective to govern effectively, and to ensure that we continue to be a forward thinking, inclusive organisation that is committed to achieving our vision.

We are seeking a Finance Director to join our Board of Non-Executive Directors and to help drive the ambition of Mid Wales. We are keen to hear from anyone who:

• is comfortable asking questions which will help us grow,


• has experience within finance,


• brings diverse insight and understanding to discussions with a strong philosophy of equity, inclusion, and diversity.

If you have some time to give and are passionate about physical activity, inclusion and our beautiful region, and would be willing to champion, challenge and support our work, we would love to hear from you.
