Full Job Description
We are looking for a current or aspiring Data Manager (3 days per week). In this role you will be responsible for managing the Authority's data assets and working with various teams to facilitate effective use of our data. Responsible for optimising our data infrastructure, ensuring databases are maintained, updated, secured, and utilised effectively. You will work collaboratively with other teams and departments within the Authority to understand their needs, design and deliver change. Making tangible improvements, contributing towards the decision-making process and the management of the National Park. Regular tasks will include;
- work with the Records Manager to ensure compliance with data protection laws
- writing and analysing reports to identify trends and performance
- training from or meeting with a 3rd party supplier
- collaboration with the Web Developer on new self-service functions
- communicating with non-ICT staff, working to implement changes to improve services
You will need to be able to demonstrate proficiency, have completed or be undertaking a relevant course of study - Technical Database Skills
