This is a prime opportunity to develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of wholesale money markets (Deposits, FX, Fixed Income) and learn the Benchmarks business as it continues to grow and develop in today's increasingly regulated environment. A comprehensive training plan will enable the successful candidate to develop key skills that will provide the skills to become a global point of contact for all Benchmark data issues, with a wide range of interactions with various groups across the organization, Banks, Administrators and Associations. We are seeking someone who is keen to join a high performing team in an area of finance that sits at the heart of modern wholesale money markets.
Once trained, the successful candidate will be:
- A point of contact within the business involved with day-to-day benchmark setting, enhancements, projects and resolving client queries
- Able to utilise front-to-back technology and systems to perform benchmark publications and monitoring tasks
- An integral position in Problem Management processes and Incident Management
- Oversight and support of the daily polling of panel banks
- A client facing content resolver group
- Compiling reports to Administrators and Financial Associations
- Ensuring an efficient flow of data to the real-time data network
- Responding to internal and external client queries
- Maintain the integrity of historical records
- Diligent and able to work within an environment that requires high standards of work with an understanding of regulatory requirements (i.e. IOSCO, EU Benchmark Regulations)
- Support the Operations Metrics and Quality assurance role
Experience Required:
- Microsoft Excel - good knowledge and experience would be advantageous.
- Good standard of communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and proficient worker.
- The ability to work well within a team and collaborate with other groups around the globe.
- The aptitude to learn new processes quickly and absorb information promptly.
- Understanding of MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint etc).
Desired Skills/Nice to have:
- An understanding of IOSCO and EU Benchmark Regulation (EU BMR)
- An understanding of Money Markets: Deposits, Repo's, Bankers Acceptance's, Foreign Exchange.
- Compliance skills: ability to comprehend regulatory requirements and apply to real-life situations.
- Knowledge of the following databases/systems: GEDA, FMS, JIRA, Salesforce, DAMON
Education/ Certifications:
- Desirable: Minimum 2 A Levels.
