Full Job Description
Our public sector client are looking for Admin Team Leader on a Temporary basis.Location: Hybrid - site visits required (Hinckley, Wigston, Melton, and County Hall)Pay Rate: £13.48 per hourRole Overview: We're seeking an experienced Admin Team Leader to support and coordinate business support services across multiple sites within Adults & Communities. This role includes supervising admin staff, ensuring effective office operations, and maintaining high-quality customer service.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate admin and reception duties across multiple sites
- Allocate and monitor workloads to meet deadlines and performance targets
- Supervise, train, and support Admin Assistants
- Manage correspondence, generic inboxes, and provide routine reporting
- Assist with recruitment, induction, and absence management
- Support health & safety checks, staff inductions, and office relocations
- Handle ordering, invoicing, and budget monitoring
- Maintain secure and efficient information management systems
- Attend meetings and represent management as required
Strong admin team leadership experience - Ability to travel across sites as needed
- Knowledge of data handling, performance monitoring, and office systems
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
