Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment. Want to be a part of it? What will you be doing? M Group Water have recently signed a 5-year extension to our long-standing Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) Alliance contract with Anglian Water to deliver circa £400million of both infrastructure and non-infrastructure design and build work across both water and water recycling assets over AMP8. The Integrated Operation Solutions (IOS) provide totex solutions across the Anglian Water region to emergent needs which are too complex to be delivered by our client to safeguard future water supply. You can help play a vital role to provide commercial support to the delivery team to ensure our customers across the region continue to receive a great service with as little interruption as possible whilst remaining within budget. As our Quantity Surveyor, you'll act as the commercial conscious to the integrated delivery team, supporting the project management and on-site delivery teams. You'll be working under the NEC3 Option A form of Contract, you'll be responsible for the commercial management and reporting of performance of a project. Embracing the outperformance mentality, you'll ensure that operations are carried out to control costs, maximising value, minimising future liabilities and maintaining the required standard of quality and safety. Assist estimating to ensure robust tenders are provided that align to scope and make allowance for risks and opportunities as required. Oversee procurement processes and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. Work closely with the construction team in preparing Subcontracts and procurement strategies which covers the agreed scope. Produce accurate live forecasting, considering the programme and reporting in accordance with the respective work / cost breakdown structure. Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and present updates to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure actual costs are monitored and assessed against baseline, value of work done, and final outturn calculations. Ensure that all project team members (including site staff) understand the contractual arrangements, to satisfy Client & Partner organisation requirements. Ensure that proper records are kept & maintained so financial information for audits and cost assurance is readily available. Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project objectives are achieved. To join us for this opportunity, you'll have experience of Contract Law (NEC3/4 forms of contract) and are able to evidence your commercial and contractual understanding. With excellent IT skills (specifically Excel), you'll be able to communicate with a wide range of audiences. Acting as a proactive team member, you'll have strong organisational and prioritising skills to underpin your enthusiasm and thirst to learn to make a positive impact. You'll can demonstrate experience manging commercial change control, preparation of monthly applications and the preparation and issuing of sub-contract orders.,
