Full Job Description
successful regional implementation of national programmes through effective engagement with key partners.
Establish strong relationships with Area Associations and local league organisers to support the development of sustainable and appropriate competition.
Provide support and manage agreements with Area Associations. Deliver appropriate guidance and assistance to Area Associations in line with the objectives set out in formal FAW Partnership Agreements.
Produce data and insight reports that identifies trends in registered playing numbers.
Managing tactical approaches and overseeing operational delivery through local agents and experts by identifying workforce needs.
Establishing and developing positive relationships with regional stakeholders and partners essential for the successful delivery of team priorities.
Provide specific development support and guidance to Area Associations, clubs and leagues to achieve team priorities.
Act as the point of contact for Area Associations in the region (NWCFA, NEWFA & CWFA) managing local and regional advocacy and communication.
Support development of delivery partners capability/capacity to deliver outcomes.
Providing technical advice across the region on strategic priorities with guidance from strategic leads.
Fostering cross functional collaboration with other FAW teams to support the delivery of shared goals and objectives.
Supporting budget development, management and monitoring relating to team priorities and activities.

Experience of project and budget management is essential., ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTSThe ability to speak Welsh would be advantageous.
The role will require regional travel so access to transport is required.
The appointment of the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and two professional / personal references, to the satisfaction of the FAW.
In addition, the FAW will ask to see evidence of right to work in the UK.

Experience of working with or as part of a league structure is advantageous.
An understanding of sporting and political landscape, ideally in a Welsh context
Experience of line managing multi-discipline teams is desirable.
