Full Job Description

The Skills and Employment Development Service has an exciting position available. We have a full-time opportunity to join the team as a Project Officer. The role will manage a caseload of subcontracted training providers across Greater Lincolnshire who deliver on LCC's Adult Skills Fund. This role will primarily deliver the Skills Bootcamps programme., This role plays an integral part in managing our network of training providers. You will support the planning, commissioning and performance monitoring of Skills Bootcamps training courses. You will need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle as the team travels across Greater Lincolnshire regularly.

You will: work autonomously; make decisions; be effective in developing and maintaining partnership relationships; escalate areas of concern; and take action to support training providers. The ideal candidate will need to be skilled at building and maintaining strong relationships.

Ideally you will have:

Experience of working in Adult Education or Training
Excellent project management skills and IT skills
NVQ Level 4 or equivalent OR suitable industry experience.
Knowledge of quality assurance processes, for example, learning observations.
Demonstrable experience in partnership working, managing business relationships or contract management
