Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Programme Management and Analysis Team at the University of Lancashire, to appoint a new Data and Information Analyst. The successful candidate will support the university-wide delivery of data reporting, analysis production and insight provision to inform strategic decision-making and improve student outcomes., The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and experienced data analyst, with experience of investigating complex data queries, developing effective business intelligence solutions, and producing quality insight for a range of audiences. You'll have experience of data reporting, modelling, visualisation, and data analysis using tools such as (but not limited too) Power BI, Tableau, and SSRS, as well as excellent communication skills.

As a key member of a high-performing team, you will be responsible for the delivery of corporate projects influenced by strong management information, developing relationships with key stakeholders and presenting management information and insight to high-level audiences. You'll be working with a large volume of data from across the University, helping the team to explore new opportunities and developing new methods of analysis and insight.

You will be leading strategic initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders, making key decisions to guide projects to successful completion within a structured framework. The role requires managing multiple workloads while ensuring measurable benefits and value are delivered.
