Are you looking for an exciting development opportunity within the Engineering field?
Role description
Our apprenticeship programme gives you the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification & carry out workplace training in a challenging yet exciting manufacturing industry!
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the engineering teams with maintenance tasks to learn about the different applications of engineering.
- Developing skills in different aspects of engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manual machining and fabrication) within a manufacturing work environment.
- Gaining a sound knowledge of the plant equipment, facilities and processes.
- Developing an understanding of Continuous Improvement.
- Familiarisation with the company's systems and procedures.
- Sourcing and updating engineering documentation and inputting engineering activities into a maintenance system.
Required skills / qualifications:
-Have an interest in manufacturing engineering and the drive to succeed.
-Have strong communication skills and an ability to work as part of a team.
-Have a high regard for safety, quality, compliance, systems and procedures.
-A technical mind with a methodical approach to tasks and problems.
-Have a minimum grade 4 (C) GCSE or above in Maths, English and Science.

-Salary Minimum Year 1 £13,365.84 - £22,913.16 Maximum Year 4

-Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, plus 26.5 days holiday + 8 statutory holidays
