About the Apprenticeship As a Degree Apprentice Civil Engineer, you'll combine hands-on experience with academic learning, working on a wide variety of projects while studying towards a fully funded BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering over five years. You'll be mentored by experienced professionals, use cutting-edge software and modelling tools, and develop industry knowledge and technical skills in a number of areas including:
- Highway and Drainage Engineering Design
- Bridges, Earthworks and Retaining Wall Structural Engineering: Analysis and Design
- Environmental and sustainable design, flood risk management, hydraulics, fluids; materials, soils and geotechnics Your journey will align with the Institution of Civil Engineers' route to professional membership, putting you on track to become an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) shortly after graduation. We're looking for bright, motivated individuals who: - Have at least 104 UCAS points
- Hold 5 GCSEs (grades 7-9) including Maths, English and Science
- Have 3 A-Levels including Maths and Physics, or a BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering/Construction
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Are passionate about engineering and ready to commit to a 5-year journey of growth
