Full Job Description
In the role of Maintenance Fitter you will be responsible for:
- Day-to-day maintenance activities which include planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery
- Meeting statutory and SHE standards as a minimum
- Working on a variety of plant throughout the block manufacturing site as directed on a planned or reactive basis
- Recording all work on the site CMMS system
- This is a dynamic role, mostly self-motivated and self-supervised with good communication skills
- Please note this role operates a rotating shift pattern of 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm and any prospective candidates must be willing to work these shifts
The ideal candidate for the role of Maintenance Fitter you will have experience of: - IOSH training will be an advantage
- Experience of maintaining/replacement of mechanical parts including bearings, shafts, rollers.
- Skilled with hand tools, bearing presses and fitting tools
- Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment
- Experience in maintaining and repair of mechanical equipment
- Experience in welding and/or pipefitting would be advantageous
