Full Job Description

We are recruiting for an Electrician Technician who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
Our Values are Include, Respect, and Improve. It is important that you understand and refer to our values during your recruitment process and beyond!, The post holder will be diagnosing and repairing faults on Healthcare Building Services which include the following:
Hot water boilers, sterilizers, washer disinfectors, electrical distribution services, motors, heating and ventilating plant and controls, fire, nurse call and panic/intruder alarms, heating and ventilating plant and controls and carry out planned preventive maintenance tasks on the said equipment.
Candidate will be responsible for ordering engineering spares, materials and equipment needed to undertake the works.
You will understand the working layout and operation of healthcare Building Services including engineering, plumbing and electrical systems on all the Trust's properties and instruct others on maintenance and inspection.
You should be able to travel between various hospital sites. A mileage allowance will be paid for this facility if own vehicle is used.
The successful candidate will also deal with new situations as they arise and pass on knowledge to others.
