Gap Technical are seeking skilled Maintenance Engineers to join a highly regulated, BRC-accredited food manufacturing site in Colne. The role is focused on planned maintenance of critical assets, ensuring operational continuity and minimizing downtime across production lines. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar environment, preferably within food production, and possess strong maintenance knowledge on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.,

Carry out planned maintenance tasks on assets in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including equipment maintenance logs, inspections, and repairs.
Work closely with the production and hygiene teams to complete scheduled maintenance activities
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with food safety standards, health and safety regulations, and BRC accreditation requirements.

Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within a food manufacturing or BRC-regulated environment.
Multi-skilled engineer with the ability to work on both mechanical and electrical systems. Familiarity with industrial food processing machinery
Knowledge of food safety regulations (BRC standards) and an understanding of health and safety practices within a food production setting
Strong communicator, able to work effectively with diverse teams.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively.
Flexible and adaptable to changes in production schedules or maintenance needs.
