Their growth plan is very promising and this new role will help to develop the supply chain to facilitate the growth. Info about what the Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer / Supplier QA role entails The main purpose of the role will be to conduct supplier audits, manage the documentation and at times goods in inspection (some manual, some visual but mainly machine inspection). Typical daily tasks will include opening supplier advice notes, root cause analysis, prioritising what supplier tasks needs to be escalated, working with the planners and buyers, working with the supply chain and KPI reporting for suppliers etc.

Essential Requirements of the Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer / Supplier QA

• Experience conducting supplier audits, looking at the supplier process end to end
• Good report writing skills
• An appreciation of engineering (mechanical, electrical or electronics) - located close to 'goods in' inspection the successful candidate will be required to look & inspect non-conforming products.
• Good with documentation - when non-conforming product comes in, explain, document & liaise with the supply chain to reject / return where necessary.
• Good background in manufacturing - you will come across issues not caught in the goods in area, you will then investigate if it's a supply chain error.
Desirable Requirements of the Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer / Supplier QA
• Root Cause Analysis techniques and corrective implementation
• Any background in electronic engineering would be very helpful
