Full Job Description
- Ensure staff rotas cover holiday or sickness absence.
- Complete weekly, monthly wage returns for staff.
- Provide the Porting team with weekly briefs & updates.
- Ensure that weekly performance requirements are recorded and provided to the FM Contract Manager.
- Responsible for ensuring that all internal and external mail is collected & delivered within the SLA.
- Ensuring that medical gas cylinders are stocked to the required level and managed in line with the site Medical Gases Policy - ordering, changing and fault-finding.
- Ensure continuous security cover for the facilities by monitoring the CCTV units
- Provide a Helpdesk function
- Provide training for new and existing staff, assess competence and ensure staff are trained in portering duties to the highest possible standard
- Ensure winter gritting and snow clearing is carried out in times of adverse weather.
- Ensure mortuary duties as detailed within the Porters' Procedures are completed as necessary.
Well-mannered, courteous and well-presented - An ability to communicate at all levels
- Level-headed and can remain calm during an emergency
- Able to take instructions yet at all times prioritise and use own initiative
- Able to work to tight schedules
- Supervisory qualification NVQ L2 or equivalent or willing to complete The successful candidate will require an Enhanced DBS Check before starting in the job., People are at the heart of everything we do and achieve at Robertson.
