Full Job Description
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct site surveys and gather key asset information to support accurate estimating.
- Communicate regularly with the service and maintenance team to ensure alignment.
- Review tender documents, including drawings, specifications, design standards, and client requirements.
- Prepare detailed proposal documents using in-house estimating software.
- Track and follow up on submitted quotations to gather client feedback and drive opportunities.
- Participate in both internal and client meetings as required.
- Engage with clients professionally via email, phone, and site visits to enhance satisfaction and identify new sales opportunities., Candidates who are currently a Service Proposals Engineer, Technical Estimator - Fire Protection Services, Service Solutions Engineer, Technical Proposals Specialist - Fire Systems, Service Projects Engineer may be suitable for this position
Our client is expanding their Service Department to support customers nationwide with reliable, high-quality maintenance. You will have a strong understanding of fixed fire protection systems in accordance with both national and international standards, coupled with excellent analytical skills, organisation and the ability to communicate effectively with the wider team, clients and stakeholders., Proven technical experience in fire sprinkler systems. - Experience of developing technical fire protection proposals.
- Understanding of fire protection related standards including, but not limited to, BSEN12845, BS9251, BS5306 & BS9990.
- Strong organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines and changing priorities.
- Can demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and efficiency.
- Proven IT skills with experience of MS office packages.
- Friendly and outgoing personality with the natural ability to engage with customers/clients representing Argus Fire professionally and positively.
- Strong commercial awareness with demonstrable numerical skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Must hold a valid full UK driving licence.
