Key Responsibilities
- Send SOS letters to UU 2 weeks ahead of SOS date and send map for priority service checks
- Once PS checks received check for (large print/braille) and arrange for letters to be created
- Send shut off letters to UU 2 weeks ahead, ensuring boundary is created on INS to have PS checks completed
- Send carding times and shut off times to UU within 24 hours
- Send ICC form for every job within hour contacts, out of hour contacts and scheme information.
- Complete pre, during and post construction surveys weekly (target set by UU third party Co Ordinator for each scheme)
- Complete weekly site appraisals weekly for each large scheme on site
- Asses each job with third party coordinator from UU to determine customer requirements such as public exhibitions and website etc
- Create and update TPECAP with full comms plan, stakeholders (required for larger schemes)
- Letter drop all schemes within correct time scales (any businesses 7 days)
- Attend weekly progress meetings on site and calls for schemes with client.
- Send weekly whereabouts to UU with scheme information, team information and site agent/PM details.
- Speak to customers on site and look to win as many WOW awards as possible for our work.
- Request Network RA to network tech requests as instructed by agent/ops manager from NWP
- Book NT’s for shut offs etc if required
- Chase NT/PE for RA’s and check requirements (ASV’s and boundary’s etc)
- Apply for TM plans if required
- Raise all streetworks permits
- Liaise with local councils and arrange TM meetings etc
- Check TM plans and pre sites for bus stops, light bags off etc and suspend as required (raise POs)
- Start & Stop permits within 2 hours
- Register all digs (size, material date)
- Send weekly End Date table to agents to check if extensions are required
- Send weekly Registration table out with due dates to get measures from the team
- Book TM with GTM and confirm with daily deliveries due report
- If completed by internal – manually add jobs to GARD with digs (information from agent for job)
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in land access, wayleaves, or property negotiations.
- Background in utilities, infrastructure, or construction (preferred).
- Stakeholder liaison with landowners, councils, and legal teams.
- Knowledge of land rights, easements, and planning consents.
- Familiarity with Land Registry and mapping systems.
- Experience resolving land access issues or disputes.
- Degree or diploma in Land, Planning, Property, or related field (desirable).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of land law and access regulations (e.g. NRSWA).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and mapping tools.
