Full Job Description
Applications are invited from existing suitably experienced and qualified Firefighters and Crew Managers. Eligible applicants will need to meet the following criteria as a minimum:
- Be a competent Firefighter
- Completed ICS course or pre-incident command review
- Have good leadership skills
- Not subject to formal performance improvement actions, nor have any live disciplinary sanctions
- Discussed the opportunity with your Line Manager
- Live or work within a 5-minute response to the Station
- Whilst it is desirable, it is not essential to have attended a Leading Others Assessment Centre. From 1 April 2024, we are introducing development rates of pay for any new individuals moving into a development or an acting-up role.
