Full Job Description
There will be opportunities for some hybrid working along the requirement for the role holder to be available, on occasion, to visit student households during working hours to help respond to issues.
The Community Wellbeing Co-ordinator acts as the first point of contact for all aspects of supporting students in the local community, responding to concerns raised about students living locally, visiting student properties in Egham and Englefield Green, and providing administrative support to the Wellbeing Support team.
The successful candidate will be responding to questions, comments and concerns from students, residents and other key local stakeholders such as the Borough Council, Police, Students' Union and other interested organisations. This role is suited to someone with strong interpersonal skills, adaptable communication skills and has the resilience to deal with often challenging, sensitive and demanding situations, and who can demonstrate empathy and understanding.
Ideally candidates should be able to demonstrate a commitment to providing a high level of support to students and will be expected to build links with other internal and external stakeholders for the benefit of our diverse student community The ability to work in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and efficiency in their work is an essential as is the skill to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
