As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be responsibly for managing your resources effectively to support the core tasks and priorities of the section, colleagues and Section Leaders. This is a busy and varied role, and you will be responsible for a range of tasks including:

Unloading and loading vehicles
Checking a variety of goods in as they arrive
picking and locating stock
Making sure goods are available for distribution
Assisting with warehouse audit systems
To identify processes that can be improved upon and recommend changes to Section Leaders
To liaise with internal departments as necessary
To acquire AX user knowledge succinct with the requirements of the section

To be considered as the Warehouse Operative you will need:
Previous experience of computerised inventory control and stores
Experience of an engineering or marine environment
Be proactive and motivated, and educated to NVQ 2 (or equivalent), with strong communication and teamwork skills
Ideally possess a forklift truck license or be willing to attain one, So, if as a Warehouse Operative/Storesperson, you are someone who is organised, methodical, a good communicator, and you want a role that supports our organisation's aim to reduce drowning, this could be the role for you.
