Full Job Description
Wigginton Primary School are currently seeking a School Business Manager to work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Governing Body to ensure the smooth running of the school, enabling our staff to focus on delivering excellent teaching. We are a busy, friendly school and believe every child is entitled to the very best education that we can provide. We are proud of our broad, enriched curriculum and high-quality learning experiences, which lead to a high level of achievement, a well-developed emotional and spiritual awareness, and an appreciation of the broader aspects of life. In close partnership with our parents, carers and community, we prepare our children for the next stage of education and the challenges of growing up into happy, responsible and valued members of society. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of financial and other management information to guide strategic decisions and will oversee many areas, such as financial administrative, facility and property management, as well as supervising a team of staff within the school office.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven experience in a business or finance role, ideally in a school or education setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with a range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of financial management and budgeting in a school/academy environment (desirable).
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a hands-on approach.
