As SENCO, you will lead and manage the provision for learners with SEND across all ROC College sites. Your role will involve:

• Ensuring full compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and other statutory requirements
• Supporting staff to deliver inclusive, high-quality teaching and learning
• Coordinating the Education, Health and Care Plan process and statutory reviews
• Using data and evidence to identify needs and track learner progress
• Working closely with external agencies, families and local authorities to achieve the best outcomes for our learners
• Promoting a culture of high expectations, collaboration and continuous improvement
This is a non-teaching role with a focus on leadership, planning and support. You will work closely with the Head Teacher and wider team to embed inclusive practices across the college.

• Qualified SENCO
• A strong understanding of SEND legislation and EHCP processes
• Experience of supporting learners with a range of needs, including those with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• A proactive, organised and collaborative approach
• Confidence in using data and digital systems to support planning and reporting
• A full driving licence and willingness to travel between sites when needed
