Teacher of Art and Design
Part-Time (0.5/50%)- Permanent
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS

Treorchy Comprehensive School is seeking to appoint an exceptional and enthusiastic teacher of Art and Design. We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring teacher with a strong subject knowledge and a passion for Art and Design who can build on the department's existing strengths and drive forward standards of teaching, learning, and achievement.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a strong classroom practitioner with the ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities.
  • Have a strong knowledge of the Art curriculum across Years 7 to 13.
  • Be committed to curriculum innovation and to delivering rich and inclusive lessons.

In return, we offer:

  • A highly supportive Expressive Arts team, Senior Leadership Team and Governing Body.
  • An inclusive school community with a strong emphasis on wellbeing and pupil progress.
