Job summary
The Governors are seeking to appoint as soon as possible, a committed and highly motivated part time Mid Day Meals Supervisor. The successful applicant will be committed to on-going professional development and be supportive of the Christian ethos of the school.
Job Details
- Salary: Grade 2 Scale Point 3 £24,027 FTE (pro rata £5,138.52 - actual salary)
- Contract Type: Part time
- Working Pattern: 12:00 - 1:30 Monday - Friday
- Location: Crawley
- Interviews: Tuesday 5th August
What You Need to Succeed
- Punctuality and reliability
- Good communication skills with children and adults
- Patience and a calm, caring manner
- Ability to supervise children safely during lunch and play
- Teamwork and willingness to support colleagues
- Understanding of basic food hygiene and allergy awareness
- Awareness of safeguarding and how to report concerns
- Ability to manage behaviour positively and fairly
- Flexibility to adapt to different tasks or pupil needs
- Basic first aid knowledge (training may be provided)
- Skills in setting up, cleaning, and maintaining dining areas
- Confidence in supporting pupils with additional needs
- Awareness of school values and routines
- Experience working with or caring for children (desirable)
