Our school is one of eight primary and secondary schools within the NEAT Academy Trust family of schools. At the heart of our trust is the aim to nurture, educate, achieve and transform the lives of all young people within the communities we serve across the North East. We have a national research school, which aims to build and strengthen networks of schools throughout the region and help them access effective education research and implement it in everyday practice.

Tyneview Primary School is a single form entry school catering for primary-aged children from 2 - 11 years old with an Additional Resources Provision for up to 10 pupils. Our school motto is 'maximising potential' which we do through delivering a high-quality and relevant curriculum for all. We set high expectations to give our children every opportunity to become confident and independent learners. Our aim is to be as inclusive as possible making sure that any opportunities to develop knowledge, skills and resilience are taken. Our children and staff recognise the importance of building positive relationships with each other; with families and the local community and this is an integral part of everything that we do.

In return we offer:

  • Great opportunities for continuing professional development and a career pathway across our trust.
