Full Job Description
As a SALT Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced Therapists and wider multidisciplinary team to support students in developing vital communication skills. You'll help deliver tailored interventions and strategies that empower our students to succeed both in and out of the classroom.,
- Support the planning and delivery of 1:1 and group interventions.
- Assist with assessments and progress tracking.
- Prepare communication resources (e.g. visuals, social stories).
- Work alongside teaching staff to embed communication strategies into the school day.
LVS Oxford is a specialist school for young people aged 11-16 with a diagnosis of autism. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) Assistant to join our welcoming and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in communication and neurodiversity, who is looking to build a career in education or therapy., - A degree in speech and language therapy, psychology, education, or another related field.
