Consultant Executive Officer CASH is run by heads for heads. We provide professional support to Headteachers and school leaders with the aim of improving school outcomes for all young people in Cornwall. Self-employed / contract SLA to provide services to the organisation and its members. In summary:

• Annual contract value: £47,685
• Dates: Two-year contract, starting 1st September 2025 to 31st August 2027, or sooner if possible- extension subject to mutual agreement.
• Minimum commitment 14 days per calendar month (equivalent to 0.6FTE) over 46 weeks of the year.

Following the retirement of the previous Executive Officer, we are seeking to recruit an individual who will work to support Cornwall's Secondary Headteachers and school leaders through the Cornwall Association of Secondary Headteachers (CASH), in accordance with CASH's Terms of Reference. The Officer will also ensure that members are appropriately represented at agency and Local Authority level, and kept up-to-date with national, regional and local initiatives via CASH conferences, meetings and a weekly bulletin. CASH is a membership organisation that represents publicly funded secondary schools in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 (11 - 16 year old children), and post 16 where those schools have a Sixth Form. The Duchy's four special schools, Virtual School and Alternative Provision Academies are also members of CASH.
