Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape innovative SEND programmes within a thriving and supportive environment. The role is not tied to a specific project, but rather to the strategic expansion of our SEND provision, reflecting a significant increase in learner numbers. You will lead curriculum design, support teaching teams, and play a central role in shaping provision that is tailored, aspirational, and learner-focused. This position offers real scope for growth, with opportunities for professional development, collaboration with cross-college teams, and involvement in strategic SEND initiatives. You'll be supported to access CPD, specialist training, and contribute to pioneering work in inclusive education. You will also have the opportunity to work with digital learning tools and assistive technologies that enhance learner experience. Role Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the delivery of high-quality SEND programmes across the curriculum.
- Support and guide teaching staff to deliver inclusive, personalised learning.
- Develop curriculum plans and resources aligned to EHCP outcomes and progression pathways.
- Oversee learner progress, monitoring quality and driving improvement across the programme.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive learner support.
- Champion a culture of inclusion, high aspiration, and continuous improvement.

You will be instrumental in designing and delivering programmes that remove barriers, empower independence, and transform outcomes., - Teaching qualification
- Level 3 SEND qualification or higher in a relevant subject area
- Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths
- Essential Skills & Experience
- Significant experience working with learners with SEND in an education setting
- Proven leadership or coordination experience within a curriculum or SEND context
- Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP planning
- Ability to motivate and support a team to deliver high-quality provision
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Experience of curriculum planning and learner tracking systems Desirable Skills & Experience - (Optional) Experience with assistive technologies and digital learning platforms Knowledge of Preparing for Adulthood outcomes
