• Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Counselling (For HE teaching a person-centred focus is required.
• Registration with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Essential Experience:
• Significant experience of working as a Counsellor and Supervisor in any modality.
• Knowledge and understanding of professional body regulations.
• Post qualified counselling experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of HE counselling curriculum.
