Introduction

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Apprentice to become part of the Wimborne team and work in a friendly and successful school; whilst working towards relevant industry standard qualifications. We need someone who has a desire to be successful in education and passion for being a positive role-model to young people.

What You'll Do

Working with young people aged between 4 and 11 years
Supporting a teacher in various roles within the classroom
Supporting young people with their learning
Supporting young people with specific education needs (SEND), including running intervention groups
Be involved in creating displays and preparing resources
Understand the safeguarding and behaviour policy and their role within these policies
Ability to always conduct yourself in a professional manner whilst working in schools
An eagerness to learn more about becoming a Teaching Assistant
A passion for working with children
Relevant personal qualities including patience and communication
Ability to always show professionalism
Ability to listen and learn from more experienced staff

Training Outcome

Permanent role considered on completion of the apprenticeship
Higher level teaching assistant apprenticeship available
